Welcome to Theatre at Å in July!

In July, theater will be played at the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum at Å. “That’s how it was” gives an insight into the fishing village 100 years ago.

The play will be played Sunday through Thursday at 1 p.m. in July.

One of Norway’s best preserved and complete fishing villages. Visit various buildings; including boathouse, cod liver oil factory, husmansstua. Main topic: life in the fishing village 1840–1960 and the development of Lofoten fishing over the past 250 years. Shop and summer café.

Digitization project with the National Library

In collaboration with the National Library of Norway, Museum Nord is in the process of digitizing audio and video cassettes.

Visitor numbers for 2022 set a record

After all the visitor numbers for October have been registered, we now have 250,000 visitors in Museum Nord. That’s a new record!

Our Struggle on Tour
