New roof at Kongsbakk farm!

Kongsbakk farm is an old farm in Skjomen managed by Narvik Museum. The farm is idyllically situated on a hill, with a lovely view of the fjord.

Although the old farm is idyllic, old buildings need maintenance. Therefore, Håvard, our operations manager in Ofoten, has replaced the old roof of the house this autumn.

The replacement of the roof was time-consuming work, but the result was good. The house is now ready to stand off another northern Norwegian winter.
