Children’s Viking Saturday and Christmas workshop
At Lofotr Viking Museum you can take part in the children’s Viking Saturday every Saturday until 17 December. On Saturday 26 November, the Vikings will arrange a Christmas workshop. The Christmas workshop is very popular and eventful!

Christmas market at Bø Museum
Take a trip to Bø Museum and Christmas market on 26 November from 11 am to 3 pm. Here you can buy homemade handicrafts, pancakes or books, or just meet acquaintances. At the Christmas workshop for children, old-fashioned Christmas decorations can be made, beaded or made felt animals. Porridge and coffee are also sold.

The Hurtigruten Museum plans to create perhaps the world’s longest Christmas link on November 26, and invites children to help them with the project from 12–2 p.m. There will also be super sales on annual passes for 2023 – half price! Here there are good opportunities to do away with some Christmas shopping.

Old-fashioned Christmas at Å
In keeping with tradition, the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum invites you to Old-fashioned Christmas at Å 3. December. Join us for a traditional and enjoyable Christmas celebration with cinnamon rolls, donuts, lottery tickets, Christmas market, concert, visit from Santa Claus and much more!

Christmas market and gingerbread village in Narvik
At Narvik Museum, the traditional Christmas market at the museum takes place on Saturday 3 December. Here comes a wide selection of sales exhibitors and Narvik Husflidslag serves delicious cakes in their café.

Ahead of the Christmas market, children are invited to help the museum create a gingerbread village. The theme of the gingerbread village is the Ofoten Railway. The last submission deadline is Friday, December 2.

Another well-established tradition is Lys Levede Kabelvåg, of which Gallery Espolin is a part. On December 8th there are evening open galleries and workshops.
