Digitization project with the National Library

In collaboration with the National Library of Norway, Museum Nord is in the process of digitizing audio and video cassettes.

This week, the first batch of audio cassettes was delivered to the National Library of Norway. The lot consists of about 430 cassettes from Øksnes Museum and the collection of Ofoten Museum.

Three collections are being digitized, totaling around 1,000 audio and video cassettes. After these have been digitized at the National Library of Norway, they are sent back to Museum Nord.
