Christmas in the old days

At Bø Museum in December we had a visit from the primary schools in Bø. Christmas in the old days is part of Den kulturelle skolesekken and here you get to hear about Christmas as it was before, with fresh fish on Christmas Eve, up to 14 (!) kinds of Christmas cakes and how to build yourself a Christmas tree if you lack spruce. The students were good at walking around the tree and singing. The porridge was eaten and then luckily Santa came.
