New strategy coming

23 February 2023

Museum Nord’s current strategic plan is coming to an end, and we are in the process of working on a new strategic plan.

A strategy process

Work on a new strategic plan started already last year, with evaluation and mapping of future needs. The entire organization is involved in the process; employees, R&D, management team and the board of directors.

In the autumn of 2022, we held a staff meeting focusing on strategy. Here we worked through vision, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, thematic areas and ideas for goals. The staff collection showed us that we have a relatively young and dynamic staff. We have many who are engaged to develop Museum Nord’s future.

The way forward

Right now, we are working on the main goals and draft strategy document. In addition, we have had a workshop where we have looked more closely at thematic areas.

The next strategic plan runs from 2024 to 2029, which we look forward to sharing! To be continued 😊
