This week, Svein Spjelkavik was a fly on the wall when curator Malin Overholth welcomed Hurtigruten tourists. We would like to share his experiences from the visit:

“I was a fly on the wall yesterday when wet, German-speaking guests from Hurtigruten on an excursion stopped by the Espolin Gallery. For some minutes. In a masterful way, Malin sees each one, and welcomes each in particular. She makes everyone feel welcome, and in the short time they have in Espolin’s world gives a brief introduction and a leaflet of text in the language each one speaks. – You can read this on the bus further, smiles Malin.

I didn’t know Espolin, but I’ve talked to a lot of people who loved him. I think he would have loved Malin’s gentle method.”
