Exhibition opening: “Electrification of the Ofotbanen railway”

On 22 June, Narvik Museum opened the new permanent exhibition “Electrification of the Ofotbanen railway”. This year it is 100 years since the Ofotbanen was electrified, and the opening was marked with music from the Norwegian Railway Band, cake, non-alcoholic bubbles, and the opening speech and ribbon cutting by the area director of Bane NOR, Thor Brækkan.
