This year it is 100 years since the Ofoten Railway switched to electric operation. The railway line from Narvik to Riksgränsen was electrified, and you could finally drive the entire stretch from Narvik to Luleå with electrically powered trains.

The anniversary will be marked with an event up at Katterat station. The anniversary celebration starts with a great train ride from Narvik station to Katterat.
