On September 8th, the talented dancers from the cultural school in Narvik performed the “WORK it OUT” dance at the event 100Hz at Katterat Station in Ofoten.
Narvik Museum is the only museum in Norway that participated in this year’s “WORK it OUT” under the auspices of ERIH (European Route of Industrial Heritage).
Narvik Museum’s contribution was made in collaboration with the dance students at the cultural school in Narvik and by Alex Beeton who was responsible for dance and production.
ERIH’s dance event started in 2018 on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, and became so popular that it was turned into an annual event attended by many of ERIH’s member venues. The various member venues submit video of the performance of the dance, which will be posted on ERIH’s website and YouTube channel.
