Mapping of archives at Øksnes

This week, representatives of the National Archives and Museum Nord are gathered at Øksnes Museum to map archives.

A thorough and painstaking work is being carried out to map ØLF’s archive at Øksnes Museum.

The National Archives is represented by Runi Salomonsen, Kristin Brattelid and Torkel Thime. From Museum Nord is head of collection management, Jaroslav Bogomolov, and curator at Øksnes Museum, Julie Beck Gjellesvik.

Vesterålen has shown itself from its best side, and offered fantastic November motifs to the people gathered in Øksnes, such as this:
