Kindergarten visit to Ballangen

29 February 2024

Kindergarten visit in Ballangen: On Tuesday 27 February, Ballangen Museum was visited by an energetic group of kindergarten children from a local kindergarten in Ballangen.

The children got a closer look at different rocks and minerals, and got to learn a little about Bjørkaasen Gruber and the “fool’s gold” pyrite, which the children thought sparkled nicely.

Then the children got to go through the exhibition at the museum, and got to see what people’s things in the “old days” looked like, such as an old waffle iron and goro iron.

Thanks for visiting!
