A new European feather in the cap for Museum Nord’s research repertoire

17 April 2024

Last week, R&D and SKREI Research Center at Anna and Jonas went to Oviedo in Spain for the “kick off” meeting of the “Horizon Europe” project, “Culturality“. The project addresses “cultural heritage in rural and peripheral areas to promote creative tourism and sustainability”. The project proposal received the highest score in the selection process of Horizon Europe, and as our eminent project manager from the University of Oviedo said; “We’re on the top of Europe”, which indicates that we can be especially proud to have come this far, now the fun begins!

Our partners come from all over Europe; Spain, Italy, Estonia, Slovenia, Romania, Scotland and Sweden.

Culturality for 4 years

The project runs over 4 years where Museum Nord is a partner and will carry out a number of activities during the project period that will give more of our professionals, visitor spaces and thematic opportunities for development in accordance with the new strategy. The meeting lasted 4 days with a tight program and a careful review of work packages, goals, targets, methods, digital solutions, etc. Our posted employees were able to make full use of their thinking capacity, but look forward to offering our organization a number of opportunities in the coming years for Museum Nord’s research repertoire.
