On the construction site, there is hectic activity again after a break in July. We are building SKREI!
The contract with Sortland Entreprenør was signed at the beginning of the summer and they have now started worki on the building site. In August, large masses of rock have been moved from the depot in the parking lot to prepare for the barracks rig that will be placed there during the construction period.
Later in the autumn, the project office will also be demolished, a little earlier than originally planned. Fortunately, SKREI’s project organization will not be without a roof over their heads, but will move into the barracks rig together with Sortland Entreprenør and the other subcontractors involved in the project.
In the construction pit itself, work is now underway on anchoring and foundation for “Otolitten”, the new main building of approx. 5000 sqm. The next thing that will happen is the casting of the slab for the basement. There are exciting days ahead for SKREI. In 2026, we open our doors!
