Although there is still a lot left of 2024, it is time to finalize plans for 2025 and look in the binoculars towards the end of our strategic plan period. R&D and the management team have gathered at Borg to work on the action plan and budget for Museum Nord 2025.

The heart of our current strategic plan period is exhibition renewal. This means that we use exhibition renewal as a dynamo to implement other measures and development opportunities.
From the strategy plan on page 21:
“The core of the strategy is Sub-goal 7.1-3 Renewal of exhibitions. The work links together several other sub-goals and processes, such as mapping and systematization of knowledge as a basis for dissemination; collection work to make the collections relevant and accessible, especially in the exhibitions; collection of intangible cultural heritage, project work and place development.”

There is a lot that needs to be stitched together, and be realistic in relation to goal achievement, budget and use of resources.
The basis for further work has now been laid, and during the autumn, the action plan 2025 for Museum Nord will be completed. We look forward to embarking on a new year with lots of exciting activities and projects!
