This weekend, the public got one last opportunity to experience Melbo Manor’s exhibition “My ship is loaded with….” when historian Åsa Elstad came to Rødgården in Melbu to tell about hidden treasures from the hunting era.
It was a nice event with coffee and something to bite into, and good opportunities both before and after the lecture to wander around and look at the pictures. The visitors heard about both parties and everyday life, about the wealth and misfortune of the Bruun family on Børøya at the end of the 1700s.
