Now Advent and the Christmas season are fast approaching, and true to tradition, several of our museums have Christmas workshops in November and December!
Here, both young and old can join in on cozy, creative and fun activities, make decorations and maybe get some Christmas snacks? In any case, there will be many cozy events in Ofoten, Vesterålen and Lofoten!
First out with cozy Christmas workshops are the museums in Ofoten; Ballangen Museum, Kjøpsvik Museum and Narvik Museum, followed by a pleasant Christmas market and Christmas workshop at Bø Museum. The Vikings at Lofotr Viking Museum also invite you to a Christmas workshop, while the Andøy Museum has a drop-in Christmas workshop from 1-18 December, so just stop by when it suits you! At the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum, you can join a Christmas workshop during Old-fashioned Christmas at Å, and at the Hurtigruten Museum there will be both a Christmas workshop and a concert!
