Winter holidays in Lofotr

The winter holiday 2025 at Lofotr Viking Museum has so far been a great success, with a wide range of activities that have excited both children and adults. The museum has arranged exciting experiences such as stick bread baking, kolrosing, Viking warrior school and sling braiding, which has given visitors a taste of the Viking Age.

The activities have taken place on Wednesdays and Saturdays in recent weeks and the interest has been great! Families have flocked to participate in the hands-on workshops, where they have had the opportunity to learn traditional craft techniques and other fun activities.

For those who have not had time to participate until now, we have good news: The winter holiday event also continues on the following Saturday 8 March, stick bread baking and Viking warrior school are on the agenda. Stop by the museum and join us!
