The Horizon Europe project “Culturality” addresses cultural heritage in rural and peripheral areas to promote creative tourism and sustainability.

On Tuesday, we met in Lødingen to continue working on some of our deliveries to the Horizon Europe project Culturality.
Why Lødingen, you may wonder? Well, we are sitting quite scattered around the Museum Nord kingdom of Ofoten, Lofoten and Vesterålen. And of course, meetings usually take place on Teams. But sometimes it is necessary to meet, and to avoid too long driving stages, Lødingen is a nice meet-in-the-middle solution.
Site development
So here we gathered representatives from R&D, SKREI Research Center and colleagues from Kjøpsvik Museum and the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum to work with CULTURALITY. Lødingen Library was the arena for the workshop. Here we did a preliminary analysis for a feasibility study in combination with an exciting methodology CULTURALITY has developed for collaboration between actors in society and institutions such as Museum Nord.
By collaborating across the organization, we want to bring out our rough diamonds together with the communities around them, so we create prouder people, better places to visit and a better organization. Expect an invitation, especially if you are located around Kjøpsvik or Å !
