The Horizon Europe project “Culturality” addresses cultural heritage in rural and peripheral areas to promote creative tourism and sustainability.

Duojár Ellen Berit Dalbakk participated in the last round of interviews for the Horizon Europe project Culturality.
Ellen Berit Dalbakk exudes Sami traditional crafts, doudji, which she has practiced for the past 15 years. She lives in Kiruna in northern Sweden, but also spends a lot of time in her home area in Tjeldsund.
Ellen Berit Dalbakk makes several products, such as suits, coffee bags and belts. Leather and textiles are commonly used materials. She often participates in collaboration with other actors who promote Sami cultural heritage, where she has, among other things, contributed to exhibitions at the Várdobáiki Sami Centre.
