Update from the Manor House

28 November 2025

It has been busy weeks with a lot of exciting work here in the Manor House, and we want to share an update since it has been a while since we last.

We are constantly working to restore and preserve the unique soul of the Manor House, and we focus on making the home ready for our visitors.

This week, we have placed special emphasis on three rooms: the former weaving room in the exhibition, the newly renovated Hall, and the room that is becoming the kitchen in the house. These areas have been thoroughly refreshed with scrubbing and scrubbing of the old wooden floors, which were previously covered in grey dirt and wear.

By using linseed oil soap, we have been able to highlight the natural beauty of the wood color. The result has been impressive! Years of dirt and ugly stains are now gone, and the floors shine with a newfound glow. We are excited to give these spaces new life, and we look forward to showcasing the enhanced atmosphere to our visitors.
