Museum Nord has spun off its business activities into a subsidiary. The company operates the commercial operations in all facilities, with sales offers and seasonal employees.
Museum Nord’s subsidiary Lofotr Næringsdrift AS changed its name to Museum Nord Næringsdrift AS on 20.10.2025. Museum Nord Næringsdrift AS is wholly owned by the Museum Nord Foundation. The company’s business address is Prestegårdsveien 59, 8360 Bøstad.
The Museum Nord Foundation takes care of the museum profession, including collection, management, dissemination and research in Museum Nord’s museums. The company Museum Nord Næringsdrift AS is responsible for operations, marketing, sales of experiences, goods and services to the public.

Those who have been employed by Lofotr Næringsdrift AS are automatically transferred to Museum Nord Næringsdrift AS.

Museum Nord Næringsdrift AS is led by the general manager (Torunn Rørvik Wilhelmsson). The general manager of MN Næringsdrift is also deputy director of Museum Nord.
