Swap day at the museum café

14 January 2026

Do you have clothes, children’s clothes or other things that you no longer use that you want to give away, or exchange for something else?

On Saturday 24 January, the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum organizes a clothes swap day for the fourth time, from 10:00 to 15:00.

Previously, we have had the event at the old prayer house, but this time we are moving to the museum café. There will be a selection of, among other things, coats and dresses, shoes, training clothes, sweaters and trousers. Some of the clothes are from previous clothes swap days. But feel free to bring more clothes, children’s clothes and other things that you want and get changed.

The goal of clothes swap days is that you can renew your wardrobe without buying new ones, that the clothes can be reused. With less clothes being thrown away, the better it is for the environment. Many of the clothes that come in are of good quality, and can be used longer. And some of the clothes are used in a sustainable way, such as redesign.

Join a nice event at Å, meet people, have a cup of coffee and nice new treasures.

See you at Å.
