This week, the collection group in Museum Nord has been in Svolvær to visit William and his collegues at Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum!
The collection group gathers four times a year to make registrations and surveys in our four departments, and now it was time for a registration session at Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum.

The group consists of employees from all departments in Museum Nord, and is led by the collections manager. This round of registration sessions in Svolvær was attended by Jaroslav, Erlend, Ole-Andreas, Elisabeth, Kjersti R, Catharina and Ágnes, in addition to colleagues from the Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum.

Over the years, William Hakvaag has built up an impressive collection of objects from World War II. If you have not yet visited Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum, it is highly recommended. The collection is rich with many small details, uniforms and objects.
