Now it’s finally time for this year’s Train Party at Narvik Museum! Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th of March, from noon to 3PM both days, we invite young and old to an exciting experience at the museum ? with history, play and coziness around the fire pit. Both families with children and kindergartens are invited!

Have you ever come face-to-face with a real, old locomotive? At Togfest you can visit the museum’s beautiful electric locomotive in the museum garden – a real favorite for both children and adults. Here you can explore, ask questions and learn more about the railway history that has been so important to Narvik.

In the museum garden, there will be fun activities for the children. Here they can play, explore and use their imagination!
We light a fire in the fire pit and create a good atmosphere outside. Hot cocoa and juice will be served to everyone ? Perfect for a little break between activities. It is also possible for guests to grill their own food on the fire pan, so bring sausage with bread or other good things to grill!

The museum’s exhibitions will also be available to anyone who wants to go in and see our exciting exhibitions. Take the time to discover more of the history that has shaped our region.
When: Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 March, 12-15 both days
Price: NOK 100 per familyThe kindergartens participate for free in the event.
PS: Remember to dress according to the weather conditions and outdoor play. The locomotive is not completely clean, so feel free to wear clothes that can withstand getting a little dirty!
The event is part of Arctic Kids
We hope to see you for a nice day at the museum!
