Opening hours Risøyhamn Local Museum Summer 2026 -

Now the opening hours for the summer have been decided for Risøyhamn Bygdetun. It will open on July 4 and be open Wednesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., until August 15.

At the village yard you can see the five-oared boat in the boathouse ? Haakon?, built in Helgeland in 1880, and learn about Risøyrenna.

In Lensmannsgården you can experience an exhibition called “Operations and expeditions ? Andværinger in war and peace”. The exhibition provides an overview of the contributions and stories of people from Andøya in both wartime and peacetime, but also has something for those who like to dive extra deep into history.
