Cruise boat in the blue city

On 21 August, the cruise ship AidaBella docked in Sortland harbour. We at the museum welcomed them to our blue city! The tourists disembarked at 9 o’clock in the morning, and throughout the day there were over 2000 Germans who explored our region. Visit Vesterålen and Sortland Museum joined forces from 1 November 2025, and this has led to a new tourist group also visiting us at the museum.

Museum workers Karolina and Ingeborg worked together with Benedikte from Visit Vesterålen to give tourists the best possible information about Vesterålen and the museum.
