Autumn has arrived with its cool breeze, and Narvik Museum welcomes it with open arms. It’s time for Autumn Break at Narvik Museum, a week filled with exciting activities that the whole family can enjoy. From Monday, October 9th, to Friday, October 13th, the doors will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM every day.
One of the highlights during Autumn Break is “Museum Mouse Hunt.” But don’t worry, no real mice or animals are harmed during this activity. On the contrary, it’s all about searching for toy mice hidden throughout the museum’s exhibitions. This provides a fantastic opportunity for both young and old to explore the museum’s displays in a fun and interactive way.
For children with an artistic side, Mosling Tunnel is the place to be. Here, you’ll find a selection of drawing materials that will inspire the creativity of the children. They can let their imaginations run wild, creating their own artworks or coloring drawings of our museum locomotive.
Have you ever wondered what it sounds like inside a power plant? Narvik Museum gives you the chance to experience the sounds of four power plants in the sound shower in our latest exhibition, “Electrification of the Ofoten Line.” This is a unique experience that provides insight into the technological developments that have shaped the region.
An additional reason to look forward to your visit is that if you purchase tickets online for Autumn Break at Narvik Museum, you will receive a generous 50% discount by using the discount code “musejakt23narvik” (excluding group tickets). You can easily purchase tickets through our online store. Regular-priced tickets can also be bought when you arrive at the museum.
So why not take a trip to Narvik Museum during the autumn break? It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn something new, explore the culture and history of the area, and, most importantly, have fun with your family. We look forward to welcoming you.
