Whittle, bake, sew, lime, draw, bake – many activities await those who want to take part in the Viking Christmas workshop. In the Chieftain’s House and in the Glass Courtyard, the Vikings are waiting for you, at various workstations.
Stick bread is baked over an open fire, Christmas decorations are made from fragrant juniper, you can dress up as a Viking and take nice pictures, make nice things in different textiles, and more. We believe many lucky parents, siblings, and grandparents have received wonderful gifts from children who have made nice things at the Christmas workshop.
Admission is free on this day. Enter via the ticket office and get your free ticket. At the ticket counter, you will get a bag that you can collect your things. The day is very popular, so book your spot in advance, tickets here.
In the museum shop, you can make real bargains there is a SALE on many great merchandise. The museum café sells hot and cold drinks as well as something to eat.
