Welcome to a concert with Trio d’amore at the Espolin Gallery!
Not everyone knows that there is a classic trio with an international touch based in Vågan. The group calls itself Trio d’amore because they love to play music together, but also because they began their collaboration with a piece by Vivaldi called “Duetto d’amore” – which today is their theme song.
The program for the night begins with the theme song before we continue with the main pieces Trio XXXI by Joseph Haydn and Grand Trio in D by Ignaz Pleyel – both consisting of brilliant music that is easy to listen to. In between there will be three short solo pieces, one from each of the musicians.
Flutist Viggo Berg Johansen from Svolvær
Cellist John Burnham from Chicago
Pianist Jeremy Blandford from England
