Course in weaving on rigid heddle loom with Tone Elvebakk

In collaboration with Áhkánjárgga Sámesearvi, Narvik Museum arranges a course in weaving on rigid heddle looms at Narvik Museum.

Course leader is Tone Elvebakk from Duodjeinstituhtta Nordland.

You can choose whether you want to weave a belt, hat tie or “komagbånd” (sámi shoe bands).

Participants must provide their own equipment/yarn.

The price of the course in weaving on rigid heddle loom is 200,- for members of Áhkánjárgga Sámesearvi, and 400,- for non-members.

After registration, you will be placed in a private group on Facebook, where you will get equipment list, as well as further course plan.
