DKS in Storvågan and at the Lofoten Museum

We invite school classes 5 – 7 school years throughout Vågan to participate in pleasant and educational days with us in Storvågan.

Lofoten Museum: conveys the history of fishing in the past, with arrangements based on the museum’s exhibitions and workshop with traditional crafts.

Gallery Espolin: examines the relationship between the people, the fish and the sea shown through Kaare Espolin Johnson’s art. There will be conversation-based tours and activities at the graphics workshop.

At the Lofoten Aquarium: we take a closer look at the cod. How does it live and why does it spawn in the areas around Lofoten? How do we make sure that we can harvest from the cod stock in the future as well? Could climate change have an impact on the cod fishery

The program takes place over several days.
