Mari Marstein has worked to register and collect ornamental and garden plants from large parts of Southern Norway to the preservation at Gamle Hvam and elsewhere. As a conservator at the Akershus Museum for more than 40 years, Dept. Gamle Hvam, Marstein has broad experience from this work – and she has lots of nice pictures to show us of flowers and plants from old gardens! Mari is now retired, but is still active in giving courses and lectures.
