Musikk i Nordland presents a lighting design course for young people at Sommer-Melbu, in collaboration with Nordland Akademi. There will also be a drop-in session earlier in the day, open to anyone curious about lighting design.

Limited spots available for the course, so please register in advance to secure your place!

Stop by our open pop-up and get a short introduction to lighting and lighting techniques.

Here, you can try out simple lighting equipment, experiment with changing colors, and see how light influences mood and expression — completely without obligation.
No experience is needed, and no registration is required.

Just drop in between 11:00 and 12:00 for a small glimpse into the world of lighting design.
Open to everyone, both young and old!

You don’t need any prior experience to sign up. With amazing colors and unique lights and fixtures, you’ll get the opportunity to learn how to light a stage.

Together with the instructor, we’ll take the journey from idea to reality, and you’ll design your own lighting landscape.

You’ll work with professional equipment as you develop your lighting skills. The course is tailored to your level, needs, and goals. In this course, you’ll have the chance to explore creativity and experimentation — your creative lighting journey starts here!

There will be a short food break in the middle of the course.
