Are you between 13 and 18 years old? Do you like drawing? Or maybe you haven’t been drawing but you want to try? Join our exciting art workshop at Narvik Museum!
For several years, Li Taiga has been drawing her surrounding nature, environment and landscape using charcoal sticks as her foremost technique. During Pride Week in Narvik, she holds a drawing workshop for young people!
During the workshop, we examine the possibilities and limitations of drawing, and approach the drawing of new perspectives. In what ways can you break your usual drawing patterns to create room for new, exciting expressions? How can you dare to draw in large format? How should one deal with one’s inner perfectionist who often prevents us from daring to try new things? In the workshop, we do drawing exercises that are suitable for everyone, regardless of how much or little you have drawn before.
The workshop is held together with the artist Maria Fox Larsson, who also uses drawing as one of her foremost artistic expressions.
If the weather permits, we move both indoors and outdoors.
Materials are included in the course, and during the course we also go through how to make your own charcoal sticks at home.
