Saturday café and lecture: “What did we eat before the potato?” by Yngvar Gustavsen

Four Saturdays in June and July, join us as the café in Alsvåggården serves coffee, cakes, and waffles, and the museum hosts storytelling and lectures in the museum building.

On Saturday 12.7, Yngvar Gustavsen returns to talk about what type of green plants we ate before the potato was introduced into our diet.

The summer exhibition “My ship is loaded with…” is open, and the café has a slightly larger selection for the occassion.

PROGRAM:
11 – The museum opens. Opportunity to visit the café, the exhibition and take part in a tour of the farmhouse.
13 – Lecture by Yngvar Gustavsen
14-16 – Opportunity to visit the café, the exhibition and take part in a tour of the farmhouse

Please note that due to the event, we will not be doing guided tours before 14:00 at the earliest. All lectures/stories are told in Norwegian.
