Storytelling Saturday – Authentic Crafts

On Saturday, September 26th, Lofotr Viking Museum invites you to a day of hands-on craft demonstrations!

Throughout the day, the craftspeople in the Chieftain’s House will share their knowledge through demonstrations, giving visitors the opportunity to experience history up close.

Woodcarving
The woodcarver will be working on the panels that will decorate the entrance to the Chieftain’s House, while demonstrating techniques and tools used during the Viking Age.

Textile Craft
Our textile craftsperson will be working with textiles in the Chieftain’s House and will be available to answer questions and talk about the work.

The demonstrations are suitable for visitors of all ages and will take place in the Chieftain’s House at Borg.

The activity will take place throughout the day and is included with the regular admission ticket.
