The Norwegian Coastal Administration's anniversary exhibition - Two children pilot a boat safely into port
THE NORWEGIAN COASTAL ADMINISTRATION’S ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION IN KABELVÅG

The exhibition is suitable for both adults and children. Here you can try to guide a (fairly small) tanker safely into port without running aground, build a breakwater, or spin the wheel of fortune that tells you about your future possibilities.

See glimpses from the Norwegian Coastal Administration’s history and unique photographs. Join digital lighthouse visits, and other explorations and experiences for young and old.

FREE ADMISSION THROUGHOUT JUNE AT GALLERI LILLE KABELVÅG.
OPEN TUESDAY-FRIDAY 09.00-14.00, SATURDAY-SUNDAY 11.00-15.00

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Norwegian Port Authority in Kabelvåg. At the same time, it is 50 years since the port authority, the lighthouse service and the pilot service was merged into the Norwegian Coastal Administration.

To celebrate this, we have created an anniversary exhibition where visitors will be able to experience how the agency has shaped the sea route with lighthouses, harbours and fairways, and contributed to development and safety along the entire coast of Norway.

Guided tours for schools in Vågan throughout June!
Registration at lofotmuseet@museumnord.no

Welcome!

The exhibition is made in connection with the Norwegian Coastal Administration’s anniversary and is a collaboration between the agency and the Norwegian Coastal Administration Museum Museum Nord.
