Museum Nord’s department in Ofoten has four museums: Narvik Museum, Ballangen Museum, Kjøpsvik Museum and Korsnes Museum. We welcome visits at all facilities and have the opportunity to facilitate offers adapted to children and young people with local historical themes as needed. Opening of the Ofotbanen railway
On 15 November 1902, the Norwegian Ofotbanen railway was connected to the Swedish Malmbanan on the National Border. The following summer there was a tablecloth for a feast dinner and a royal visit.
