During the summer, it is possible to take part in sailing or rowing of the Viking ship Vargfotr in Borgpollen.
The harbour is approximately 1.5 km from the museum entrance. We recommend allowing around 20 minutes to walk to the ship. Tickets must be booked online and presented to the crew five minutes before your selected departure time, so please make sure to have your booking confirmation ready.
12:00 – 18:30 in the period June 15th – August 15th.
12:00 – 16:30 in the period August 16th – August 31st.

The crew on the ship are experienced professionals and communicators, and ensure a safe experience for both young and old.
Weather conditions determine whether the ship is sailed or rowed.
The Viking ship does not sail in bad weather conditions.
Changes in program may occur.
