About Skaftnes Gård

Skaftnes farm consists of a farmhouse, barn, jetty, smithy and boathouse.
The farm is idyllically located down by the fjord.
In the early 1800s, Skaftnes was a small fishing village with 7–8 boats.
What makes this mini-fishing village unique is that it is the only one in Lofoten that has been preserved in its original style from the last century.
Furniture, utensils, boats and other equipment, partly from the same period, are still intact, giving an authentic insight into history.
