On Thursday 2 July, Ballangen Museum arranged the familiararrangement Gruvecamp (Mining camp) at the museum. The event was in collaboration with Ofoten Amateur Geological Society and Ballangen History Society.
The Ofoten Amateur Geological Society brought many exciting minerals and rocks that everyone could look at, and buy home if they wished.
Both the museum and the Ofoten Amateur Geological Society had activities for young and old, including a rebus tour around the museum with a geology theme.
Inside the museum, guests could explore the exhibitions over three floors, and participate in guided tours with the museum’s summer guide.
Ballangen History Team lined up with delicious apple cake!
Ballangen Museum thanks for good cooperation with Ofoten Amateur Geological Society and Ballangen History Society. Thank you to everyone who took the trip to Gruvecamp!
