Storage and secure processing of personal data

Your personal data will be stored for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which we collected the data, or you ask us to delete it, or for as long as we are required by law to keep it. Personal data is stored in operating environments that use standard security methods to ensure unauthorized access. Only those who need access to your personal data have it.

We are committed to the secure and professional processing of personal data. We make demands on our partners and suppliers. Our supplier and host to museumnord.no is Pooka & Co. We also use digital platforms from KulturIT, including the Digital Museum. The supplier of newsletters is Make.

Sharing of personal data

Sharing of your personal data is only done if there is an agreement with you, your consent or we are required to do so in accordance with the law. Processing of personal data takes place within the EU/EEA, or regulated in accordance with the EU/EEA standard contract for transfer to third countries if any services are located outside the EU/EEA.

Museum Nord is subject to the Freedom of Information Act, and our documents and the like are generally open for access. We disclose information according to access requirements, but not in confidential information.
