Draugen Dag in the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum – with nisse in the lead role
Thursday 29 October 11:00 - Friday 30 October 15:00

For the fifth year now, we have had the tradition at the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum of arranging the Draugen Day at the end of October.
Halloween is more and more popular among children and adults. We have thought it is a good time and opportunity to talk about supernatural beings, folklore, stories and legends from Lofoten and Northern Norway.
On this day, we decorate the museum with (slightly) scary and mysterious decorations. Visitors can find activities associated with Draugen and other figures from folklore. We focus on a new being every year. This year’s supernatural being is: nisse.
